Resist Records welcomes Choke to its roster. Their debut album “Left With Nothing” will be released on January 8.
Originally formed as a reaction to a complacent local hardcore scene, the Central Coast hardcore punk band have always felt out of step with their surroundings.
Raised on a balance of Mark My Words, Cro-Mags and Extortion, the band formed in early 2013, and went on to release both a demo tape and 7”, with the majority of 2015 spent working on their debut album ‘Left With Nothing’.
‘Left with Nothing’ officially ushers in a new phase for Choke which began with the addition of new vocalist Brent White at the start of 2015. Choke are presenting 11 tracks of bleak, heavy and fast hardcore punk inspired by misery, paranoia and self-loathing.

January 2016 will see Australian metalcore outfit Confession take a final bow – a choice made by their infamous frontman Michael Crafter, perhaps better known for his appearance on Big Brother, or generally outrageous internet presence – to leave the stage while on top, rather than to fade away as the responsibilities of life take the lead.
Following on from Crafter’s stints in I Killed The Prom Queen, Bury Your Dead, and Carpathian, Confession formed in 2008 as a last ditch attempt to further his desire to see the world through music. Countless tours of Australia with the likes of Parkway Drive, A Day To Remember, The Amity Affliction, Deez Nuts, Misery Signals, The Acacia Strain, Bury Your Dead, and more were followed up with spots on the prestigious Warped and Soundwave tours, as well as international journeys throughout Europe, Japan, and South East Asia.
A self-described “football side” of ex-members have been through the band’s ranks since 2008’s ‘Can’t Live Can’t Breathe’ EP and 2009’s ‘Cancer’ album, a notion that peaked in a show of Crafter’s determination following the band’s failed mutiny attempt after 2011’s ‘The Long Way Home’. Never to be defeated on anyone’s terms but his own, the band was rebuilt, and then produced their most epic and final effort – 2014’s #19 ARIA charting ‘Life & Death’. With a career spanning set up their sleeves, this tour will be your last chance to get in the pit under the command of one of Australia’s most legendary frontmen. Mosh is fucking dead.

From the release of their 2010 demo to their 2011 Pressure to Succeed EP, Baltimore’s Turnstile have walked a path all their own. A path that has quickly brought them a rabid following based off of their groove driven melodic energies and insane live shows. Having shared the stage with bands like Bane, Trapped Under Ice, Title Fight, Backtrack, and many more, Turnstile have continued to travel and grow. As many attendees to these events can attest, Turnstile is a group that when they play live, no one can sit still. The spirit of Turnstile’s music is constantly creating converts by their vital and overpowering live shows.
