PARKWAY DRIVE “REVERENCE” OUT MAY 4.

Reverence arrives as the follow-up to 2015’s Ire—Parkway Drive’s most successful album to date and a major force in boosting their ever-growing worldwide following. But while Ire brought Parkway Drive’s uncompromising artistry to bold new levels, Reverence pushes their creative ambition even further.
“Reverence represents the most honest and personal record we have ever created,” says Parkway Drive frontman Winston McCall. “It has been born though pain, sacrifice, and conviction, with the ultimate goal of expanding not only what Parkway Drive stand for musically, but who we are as people. Thank you for listening.”

Today marks the premiere of “The Void,” one of the many heart-shredding anthems featured on Reverence. Directed by Allan Hardy, the video fully channels the furious energy of “The Void,” a track built on thrashing rhythms, ferocious vocal work, and deeply infectious melodies.

Produced by longtime Parkway Drive sound engineer George Hadjichristou and recorded at All Buttons In Recording Studio in Ottawa, Reverence both expands the band’s sonic palette and offers up their most devastating songs yet.

PARKWAY DRIVE PREMIERE “WISHING WELLS”

Today Byron Bay’s Parkway Drive share their new single ‘Wishing Wells’ and its accompanying video with the world. Opening with ominous vocals and haunting acoustic guitar, ‘Wishing Wells’ soon erupts into a furious and full-throttle metal assault. Captured in one shot, its starkly filmed video marks a deep departure from Parkway Drive’s usual high-production aesthetic. The video features front man Winston McCall giving a powerful close-up performance of ‘Wishing Wells’ with fierce intensity.

“Wishing Wells” is the compression of grief into song,” says McCall. “It’s attempting to place blame when there is none, seeking answers where there is only emptiness, and ultimately trying to find some kind of reason and meaning to justify the ultimate loss we will all be faced with in life. This is how this chapter begins and will end.”

GOOD RIDDANCE AUSTRALIAN TOUR APRIL 2018

Good Riddance is a hardcore punk band from Santa Cruz, California which was formed in the early 1990s. The band grew out of California’s vibrant surfing and skateboarding culture and was influenced by such bands as Black Flag, The Adolescents, TSOL and Bad Religion as well as East Coast bands like Sick Of It All and the Cro Mags.

With the release of their debut album “For God And Country” in 1995 on Fat Wreck, over the next decade Good Riddance went on to release seven full length albums and an EP for Fat while crisscrossing the globe dozens of times on tour.

In May 2007 Good Riddance played their final show, fittingly in their hometown of Santa Cruz. The members then went their separate ways to raise families and pursue careers. In 2012 the members of Good Riddance decided to get together and play a few shows again. The reason was simple: they missed the songs.

Good Riddance will be returning to Australia for a national tour this April, with their first show being in Brisbane on April 20 with the tour finishing in Melbourne on April 27.

Tickets on sale Wednesday February 14.
